Hourhand

Nine casino hotels. Nine different clocks.

Hourhand is an independent guide to nine casino resorts in Australia, Korea, Europe and North America. Each one is shown at its own local time, so you can see where the evening is starting, who is asleep, and when to phone the hotel.

What the clocks tell you

Darwin runs half an hour ahead of Seoul.

The Northern Territory keeps UTC+9:30 all year. Neither Darwin nor Incheon moves its clocks, so the half-hour gap never changes.

Saskatchewan never changes its clocks.

Alberta and Kansas move theirs twice a year and Saskatchewan does not, so Bear Claw shares Calgary’s time in summer and Kansas’s time in winter.

Europe and North America switch on different weekends.

The United States and Canada change their clocks in March and November, the European countries here in late March and late October. For a few weeks each year the gap between Slovenia and Louisiana is an hour shorter.

Two of these hotels are often already in tomorrow.

When it is evening in Calgary, it is the next morning in Incheon and Darwin. Each clock shows the day of the week; check it before you call.

Front desks usually answer around the clock, but reservations and group sales teams tend to keep office hours. Pick a hotel, enter its office hours, and see them on your clock.

Casino floors don’t always keep a clock in view. Bring your own.

Decide when you will stop before you sit down, and set it as an alarm on your phone. The stop-time planner works it out for you, with breaks if you want them.

Questions

Can I book a room here?

No. Hourhand doesn’t take bookings or payments. Book directly with the hotel or through a travel agent you trust.

Is this site connected to the hotels?

No. It is an independent guide. Hotel names are used only to say which property a page is about.

How accurate are the clocks?

They use your device’s clock and the time zone rules built into your browser, including daylight saving time. If your device clock is wrong, the hotel clocks will be wrong by the same amount.

Can I gamble online here?

No. There are no games, bets, accounts or casino links on this site.

Why do the skies change colour?

Each sky follows the hotel’s local hour: dawn, day, golden hour, dusk and night. It is a simple picture of the time of day, not a weather or sunset forecast.

Where do the facts come from?

From the hotels’ own information and official tourism and government sources, checked in September 2026. Hours, rules and facilities change, so confirm the details with the property before you travel.
